GM Powertrain Sweden are today working with around 960 employees stated at three sites in Sweden: engine development and engine production in Södertälje, integration- and transmissions development in Trollhättan and production of manual gearboxes in Göteborg.
Hybrid Controls Development Engineer
GM Powertrain Sweden is seeking a senior energetic person to the department of electrical hybrid powertrain development, located in Trollhättan.
GM Powertrain works with several different hybrid concepts. The department of hybrid development are in a phase of expanding and have already established as a part of the global hybrid development within GM. Our goal is to become a strategic important part of the development department within GM Powertrain of controlling, simulation and application of hybrid powertrain.
We are now seeking for a person to the department of functional development within software to hybrid control system whom are able to develop algorithms for automatic controls. The work includes simulation of the functionality off line that realizes in Simulink. It involves testing and validating in HIL simulator as well as in vehicle and calibration to reach given requirements.
The work is being done in small teams witch gives opportunities to a broad development of your own competence as well as big influence. We also work within a global organisation witch opens a lot of opportunities for a future carrier.
Qualifications:
You are a master engineer or has similar theoretical background from mechatronics, electrical or technical physics areas. Other alignments can be qualifying.
You have experience of functional development in Matlab and Simulink (or similar). You are eager to learn the physics that borders what a control transmission are able to accomplish. You have the power of initiative and works independent against targets to get results. You are accurate to secure the status of quality to your deliverance and find it easy to cooperate with others, both locally and globally. You are eager to learn the techniques and to get a holistic point of view of what techniques the team works with. You have the will to develop common solutions together with other GM Powertrain. You communicate fluent both orally and written in English.
