hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced HW system engineer who is experienced in Linux administration, shell scripting and enjoys complex problem solving combined with an agile mindset.
You will be a part of our expanding agile logging development team, working to design powerful data pipelines that process fast sensor streams, leverage appropriate data stores, and offer easy-to-use APIs Develop and deploy high-quality software using modern tooling and frameworks.
Assignment
Together you and the team will be responsible for providing an efficient logging solution that corresponds to the Scania demands and needs. The logging system will consist both of an online (hardware and software) part and offline (cloud software) part. This position will give you considerable responsibility and you will be able to steer and control your day-to-day work together within and outside of your team.
As an HW system engineer for the online logging system you will be the system owner for logging HW system and responsible for the logging computer and devices.
We expect you to have experience on the following technology:
• Linux administration and Networking
• Embedded Systems
• Hardware
• Ansible/ Puppet
• Shell Scripting
• System ownership ECU
• Electrical system
Good Knowledge in
• Intel or CPU Architecture
• CI/CD
• Agile SW Development
• PCB design &
• C++ and C
Your profile
You believe in an agile culture and are used to work in an agile environment. You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant area and you enjoy both being out in the vehicles troubleshooting HW & SW system as well as in the office environment.
As a person you are enthusiastic, initiative, solution oriented, structured, and enjoy working with colleagues in your near organisation as well as with other parts of the company or with external partners. You believe dialogue to be the way forward and strive for high quality solutions.
You are fluent in written and spoken English.
