CEVT covers all aspects of passenger car development – from the total architecture, to powertrain and drive line components, to top hat engineering as well as the vehicles’ exterior design. If we are to succeed we need to attract the right people. CEVT currently consists of some 1500 people and is growing fast. The company is located at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg and in Hangzhou, China.
HW Design Engineer for EPS components
Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) at CEVT is responsible for development of Hybrid and Electric Propulsion Systems. The area includes components such as On Board Charger, Wireless Charger, HV Batteries, electric motor, inverters or the complete system design. As HW Design Engineer for EPS components you will be the technical interface for one or several of these components.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Secure and write the technical specifications for EPS components in the car.
• Work closely together with our suppliers.
• Balancing characteristics and requirements to maximize performance/cost.
• Participate in technical investigations, concept studies and problem solving.
• Create reports and present ideas.
Requirements
• Good technical knowledge in power electronics or battery chemistry or similar.
• Master of Science Engineering degree at M, E, F or equivalent.
• Structured with an ability to drive, motivate and present ideas.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Problem solving mindset.
• Fluent in English.
• Team player with flexible approach and a holistic view.
Other Requirements
• Well accustomed to Chinese culture is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of transmission, hybrid systems, engine hardware or software development is an advantage.
• Automotive development experience is an advantage.
• In favor of environmentally friendly technologies.
The positions are placed In Gothenburg, Lindholmen.
