We are now looking to strengthen our team with a HW engineer for development of embedded electronic components such as ECU 's, HMI, intelligent sensors etc...
We drive and take responsibility for the products we develop throughout their complete lifecycle, ranging from concept, development and industrialization, to maintenance and continuous quality improvements.
The challenge is to continuously develop and improve our common embedded system to secure that it is the best for our machines today as well as in our future machines going towards electrification, digitalization and automation.
You will be part of our skilled hardware development team with focus on component development. You will participate in and drive activities such as requirement gathering, writing component specifications, evaluation of potential collaboration partners/suppliers, component development, detailed design reviews, verification and validation, transfer of design to production as well as product maintenance. All development takes place in close technical cooperation with development partners and internal engineers to ensure that the component meets Volvo's requirements for quality and function.

We are looking for you with a high interest in electronics within the automotive area.
You understand built-in electronics, such as digital and analogue circuits and power electronics, as well as the challenge to find design solutions that can cope with the harsh environment that it will be exposed to, e.g. electromagnetic compatibility.
You have the ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently, as well as a team member.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering. Alternatively you have gained similar knowledge from work experience, in the fields of embedded systems, electronics or mechatronics.
We put great emphasis on your attitude and eagerness to learn.
We welcome experienced engineers, but also recently graduated, as applicants.
