Our team
The team is a cross-functional team that works with audio support in our development projects. We strive for everyone in the team to have a good understanding of the system and thus be able to contribute to the various parts. We collaborate with other departments within Axis to create the smartest and best total solutions for our customers. We work in a dynamic and open environment with great development opportunities for everyone in the team!
Your role
In the role as a HW Audio engineer, you will be an important part of our audio venture. To thrive in the role, you like your teammates sees the importance of collaborating with others. You take in others' knowledge and shares your own. Problem solving is something that you are really triggered by. You will run our audio labs, develop test scripts and our audio test methodology at New Business. Assist the product projects in their work with audio related designs, audio measurements and to interpret the measurement results. You also get a great opportunity to contribute with/to new innovative solutions "Never seen before".
In summary, you will:
* Assist HW projects in the product areas Intercom and Audio with audio competence, tests, participate in reviews and customer visits
* Maintain and further develop our audio labs.
* Maintain existing and, if necessary, develop new test methods, test scripts and test standards for audio.
* Facilitate and document "Golden Voice" tests.
* Be part of working groups that work with strategic forward-looking development / research
We'd love to hear that you:
* Have a genuine interest in audio and technology!
* Likes to constantly increase your knowledge and share it with others.
* Have many years of relevant experience from work in the audio field with design and test.
* Hold a relevant engineering degree, preferably in acoustics or electronics.
