Nano imprint lithography is a method for reproduction of nanometer-sized structures via a printing process. The application areas for this technology are many fold ranging from novel types of high brightness LED’s to future generations of high-density hard disk drives. We are the market leader within Nano Imprint Lithography having the world’s largest installation base of NIL equipment.
Obducat offers NIL equipment for both R&D purposes as well as production purposes. The SindreTM systems are designed for fully automatic high volume production. In order to further strengthen our efforts in this area, we are now looking for a System Assembly and Test Engineer for High Volume Manufacturing using our SindreTM systems.
The tasks in this position comprise of testing the SindreTM systems thoroughly both from a machine as well as a process point of view. This includes the manufacturing of larger series of imprints, advanced tests of critical machine components, drawing the right conclusions from various test runs as well as report writing. We work with a variety of materials, structures and substrates and it is therefore necessary to understand and adjust machine and process parameters.
As a System Assembly and Test Engineer in our High Volume Manufacturing, your background is more important than your education. You need to have experience from high volume production using one or several of the following processes: semiconductor substrate manufacturing, quality control, defect analysis and process control. It is also a requirement that you are able to change and evaluate parts of the machines both from a mechanical and a electrical point of view. The expectations we have on you is that you are both hands on with details on the machines but also are able to analyze the results on a higher level. You have a technical degree and have worked at least five years in the semiconductor industry.
As a person you have well developed social skills and enjoy working in a group as well as individually. You are highly motivated, creative and perform your tasks thoroughly and in a professional manner. You have the ability to deliver high quality work and meeting deadlines.
The successful candidate will be a resourceful problem solver with excellent interaction skills and should be capable of rapidly integrating observations and results into applicable knowledge. Experience from Asian cultures and customers and knowledge of Asian language is an advantage.
