As a Human Vehicle Interaction Engineer, the scope is to define, validate and implement Mechanical Architecture and Integration for Electric Vehicle development with the competency in Ergonomics, Human Factor, Vehicle Architecture, Accommodation & Usage attributes, Occupant / vehicle packaging.
Performing CAS analysis FC check at respective gateway and reporting any deviation from set targets.
styling theme selection considering requirement meeting status. RAMSIS analysis & Human Anthropometry study.

Work tasks to DO
The role as Engineer, HVI involves:
• Develop and validate best practices/guidelines for Mechanical Architecture and Integration for Electric Vehicle.
• Develop and validate vehicle occupant ergonomic criteria as per technical input per vehicle project.
• Work to implement optimum package ergonomic & cognitive solutions for production vehicles.
• Perform digital and physical assessments of criteria against styling and engineering proposals.
• Develop and run focus studies to establish ergonomic compliance.
• Develop and validate architecture and vehicle technical specifications related to ergonomic and cognitive function.

Education and Experience:
• University Education Degree or equivalent experience in any of the following: Engineering, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Physiology, Biomechanics, Human Kinetics or closely related field.
• At least 10 years of experience from automotive Human Vehicle Interaction implementation role.
• Experience in any of the following areas: Ergonomics, Human Factors, Mechanical Integration/Systems Engineering, Technical Writing (writing best practice/requirements documents will be part of the job)
• CAD modeling software & PLM system experience and/or familiarity (Preferably NX Software & Team center software.)
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Human modeling tool experience and/or familiarity
• Agile work experience
