Job description
The HSEQ Engineer will be responsible for the health, safety, environmental and quality activities related to projects and operation contracts, involving establishment of management system and follow-up implementation and improvements. OSM Offshore has a pro-active HSEQ-approach in all we do. The position reports to HSEQ Manager.
Qualifications
Engineer (MSc or BSc)
Knowledge of legislation, standards and codes applicable for the offshore and maritime industries
Experience with system certification standards/codes as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISM and ISPS
Experience with technical HSE (safety, risk, working environment, emergency preparedness)
Experience with compliance processes
Facilitate and follow-up HSE workshops, analyses and assessments
Implement and maintain the business management system (OSM BMS)
HSEQ involvement in the project and operation phases
Plan and perform HSEQ activities including internal and external audits and verifications
Close follow-up of operation units in terms of HSE activities
Identify and implement required improvement proposals towards the units in operation
Environmental management and technology
Communication with actual Class and Flag state
Personal qualities
Good cooperation skills
Norwegian and English power of exposition is required both verbally and written
