The Worksite HSE Manager role is paramount, as we are increasingly focusing on ensuring the well-being of our employees, subcontractor employees and visitors, and the environment. The Worksite HSE Manager will maintain a good Safety Culture on his Worksite and a safe work environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to.)
Overseeing Compliance:
The primary responsibility of the Worksite HSE Manager is to ensure that the personnel on site complies with all relevant health, safety and environment regulations. He will stay up to date with ever-changing work environment and work activities and the related mitigations to put in place.
Risk Assessment / RAMS:
He will conduct thorough risk assessment and specifically task-related hazard Analysis in the workplace. He will identify potential hazards, evaluate risks and share findings with the Project HSE Manager to review and improve the live Risk Assessment and RAMS.
Training:
With the help of the Safety Advisor, will provide onsite training to employees. This will include safety procedures, the correct use of safety equipment and emergency response protocols.
He will carry out emergency drills and complete reports with strengths and weaknesses to improve.
He will attend and assist prestart meeting to guarantee effective two-way communication practice; safe work environment is in place and prestart form is dully completed.
Safety Inspections, Audits:
He will conduct regular inspections on site and will assist the Project HSE Manager in conducting Safety Audits.
He will examine the worksite, identify potential issues, and will recommend improvement.
