The role of the HSE Manager
As the manager of Health, Safety and Environment your main focus is to drive for a total safety culture which ensures a safe as well as a effective and efficient running operations in full compliance with lean and manufacturing excellence strategy (IPS). You make sure people are educated and follow routines and legal guidelines while ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety at all times. A part of the job is to act as a change agent in order to make the team as flexible and agile as possible to adapt to a changing and continues improving environment. You also ensure a smooth implementation of new processes, equipment and other working tools. You will work closely with the management team and report to the plant Manager.
What is inside you
To be succesful as HSE Manager, we believe that you have acquired the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
• University degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience in a fast moving industrial corporation.
• Up to date with latest legal requirements that can be applicable in a fast moving industrial operation.
• Successful track record in leading and implementing safety processes, techniques and end to end methodologies.
• The ability to support and coach other managers in the area of HSE.
• Successful track record in implementing and developing systems in operational environment.
• Full understanding & proven ability to enhance safety to meet near & long term goals.
• Previous experience of environmental and safety planning.
• Ability to effectively operate, influence and communicate with employees.
• Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.
