In this role you will serve as the Payroll Time subject matter expert across HR and ensure operational excellence in payroll and time management systems and processes. You will be the local time system owner and work with the strategic development of Time in Sweden.

The HR Services function is a global HR function who is responsible to ensure the provision of effective and efficient HR service delivery. Parts of the HR service delivery are outsourced and the complex transactions and demand organization are retained within AstraZeneca. We make sure to get the basics right!

The role is within the Payroll and Time team and you will report to the Payroll and Time manager in Sweden. The role will be based in Gothenburg.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working strategically to develop AstraZeneca time legislation per policy and law. You will have hands on activities in the three different time systems Workday Time, Regtime and Timecare. You will be providing guidance in the time area to managers and HR colleges, and you will be working proactive with the whole organization to make sure we meet the business demands.

You will be the system owner of local time systems and own the time policy and guidelines on the internal communication portal. You will be working with development of the time policy and need to have a very good understanding of the Swedish labour law legislation to be able to set up new schedules and agreements with the local unions. The Time Specialist will be providing training regarding labour law to new team leaders, and will ensure local managers at both AstraZeneca locations (Gothenburg and Sodertalje) have full understanding of timekeeping systems and their importance.

You will also be working with all Time projects as directed and be coordinating super user teams within HR and with the organization. Conduct ad hoc analyses as applicable to make sure the time data is correct.

There will be some more operational tasks such as:
Back up for Time Analyst
Perform data controls in Workday Time, Timecare and Regtime before extract Time data into Payroll system. Escalate issues to manager or employees, update data when within HR scope
Ensuring timely and accurate interface process. Handling of daily and monthly Time interfaces with Time Analyst
Validate and coordinate annual vacation accrual in Workday Time with Time Analyst
Validate and analyse Time data within the payroll run. Perform appropriate audit controls to ensure time is processed and paid accurately.
Assist in the resolution of pay issues.
Service review meetings with IFS, Timecare, Computacenter, HRIT.
Handle system upgrades
Validate and control the schedules in WD Time/Regtime vs SAP
Handle Special Union reporting
Create communication material concerning Time to be used in the organization
Tickets and update/maintain the system with changes of schedules, organization changes, update new employees/terminated employees. Handle Tickets in Service Now within SLA.

Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred but high school education at the least if extensive experience within Time and payroll
Strategic capability
Extensive Payroll and Time experience.
High Swedish Labour Law knowledge within Time area
Robust knowledge of Time legislation, policy and process
Strong technical understanding, and the ability to learn technical subjects quickly
Familiarity with cloud computing internet research.
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
Ability to think conceptually as well as a high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take accountability for the quality of personal outputs and success
Superior people skills, including verbal and written communications with all levels of employees and managers.
Self-motivated and able to work in an independent fashion as well as a team environment
Very good Collaboration skills at all levels in the organization, ability to work effectively
Fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and in writing
Very good Excel knowledge

Desirable Requirements

Experience within the AstraZeneca Time systems such as Workday Time, Regtime and Timecare or similar Time systems.
