hela Sverige The Project Support & Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a Recruiter.
Description of directorate/division
ESS HR division consists of nine employees, three of which are working full-time with "Recruitment and Relocation". Our work environment is characterised by fast growth, high rate of work, and an challenging international atmosphere with highly academic personnel. You must therefore enjoy the diversity of such a set up and have a personality suited for the challenges it holds.
ESS currently has approximately 220 employees and will during the coming 4 years grow to 450-500 employees. The main competences ESS will recruit are researchers (physicists), engineers and administrative staff. Many of our recruitments are international and include relocation of families to Sweden.
Description of main responsibilities
Do you have an eye for identifying skills and top talent?
One of our dear colleagues are going on maternity leave and we are looking for a skilled and driven recruiter during her absence.
You will work with operative recruitment tasks and have close contacts with recruiting managers and candidates through the recruitment process. You will hold pre-meetings to plan and coordinate the recruitment process, publish job advertisements, read applications, arrange and conduct interviews as well as other recruitment related administration. We currently use the e-recruitment system ReachMee and a media advisor as support.
Included in the daily work for all members in the HR-team is to continuously work with improvements of HR processes, templates, coaching and mentoring managers on HR best practice etc.
You will report to Head of HR division.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have considerable experience in a similar role. Outstanding relationship building skills - at all levels - are essential, as well as coaching and influencing skills. You will also have strong conflict management skills, with the ability to stay calm in high pressurised environments. Furthermore you have:
• An academic degree in HR
• Experience as HR generalist
• Good knowledge and experience in competence based interview methodology
• International background/experience combined with knowledge in Swedish working conditions and labour market
• Excellent oral and written English skills
• A good sense of humour

Duration & Location
The position is a temporary position due to maternity leave, minimum 1 year.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
