As HR Manager you contribute to the Decorative Paints strategy and define the local HR agenda, with the overall goal to ensure a capable and motivated workforce and make sure business targets are met. You are a member of the Nordic HR Leadership Team, and responsible for the local HR team with two direct reports.
Customer focus and a solid understanding of the business are important qualities in this role, as well as an ability to navigate within the matrix organization and influence at all levels.
Main responsibilities
• Provide business partnering and coaching to the Nordic Management Team in driving engagement, talent development, performance management, organization structures and resourcing strategies.
• Responsible for the HR business partnering with functional managers in all HR related topics across the whole employee life-cycle.
• Implement operating plans for AkzoNobel HR strategies and initiatives. Direct and monitor the performance through KPI:s, Balance Scorecards and Employee Engagement results.
• Implement policy and directives and coordinate HR activities such as employment, compensation, benefits, training and performance- and talent management.
• Responsible for settlement in conjunction with restructuring and organizational changes.
• Ensure the key HR processes are executed and delivered as planned, and in line with site/country policies.
• Responsible for compensation & benefits and annual salary reviews.
• Promote and maintain a positive work environment through employee communications programs, employee counseling, resolution of grievances and affirmative action programs.

Qualifications
• Degree in Human Resources or related area
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably from multi-national business
• HR generalist experience from Business and Supply Chain areas
• Experience of Fast Moving Consumer Goods is appreciated
• Experience as a project leader and/or from working in international, cross-functional project teams
• Strong business and customer focus
• Highly engaged and driven, able to engage and develop others
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
• Fluent in Swedish and English, other Nordic languages are beneficial
