Based on our People strategy, we continue to develop core processes in People management aligned with business operations.

Corporate Human Resources supports local HR-departments who in turn supplies Scania with qualified and dedicated employees that can grow with the company. By creating framework and standards with a proactive and constructive approach Corporate Human Resources is working with a focus on business driven HR.

One of our corporate organisations - Group Compliance (ZCC) - is in an important phase of its global establishment. New colleagues need to be recruited and/or be organised reporting directly to head office in Södertälje.

We don 't think this is a "one off" situation because we work in a more complex and demanding business environment - rather something that will become more common. That means that we need to make sure that we set up the infrastructure to deliver HR support in close cooperation with local HR in the different regions and business areas.

This position is unique chance to "write the book" for Scania 's global HR operations and make real impact on Scania 's future HR deliverables in a global context.

The position is organised within Corporate HR and you will report to Head of HR, Ingvor Hoffström.



About the role and requirements
The mission requires strategic and operational skills as well as:

• Great project management skills -To set up the infrastructure for how to manage and deliver HR operations globally from Head Office - In theory as well as in practice - covering primarily areas like recruitment, compensation & benefits and labour law
• Develop a "service level agreement" for the interface between host company/manager and home company/manager
• Scania knowledge - is an advantage due to the spread/scale of the operations
• HR Knowledge - Great project management will only get you so far. You also need to be knowledgeable in the area of HR
• Analytical and problem solving skills - since this is an area with considerable complexity and you will need to identify and establish new ways of working
• Communicative skills, social skills and fluency in English is a must due to wide interface/contact areas to different parts of the company

Your profile
You are an experienced leader within HR and have an academic degree or other relevant education/skills or experience. To succeed in this position you need to be strong in cross-functional work, be communicative, show drive and initiative and be energized by challenges.
