hela Sverige The HR Manager is the first point of contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. You will be a part of the Swedish HR team of 12 persons and report to the Country HR Manager. For the right candidate this role is an opportunity that offers challenging tasks in a global business environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
This role is critical in executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This role will be supporting mainly the manufacturing unit CPU, Distribution, Fulfillment & Logistics and Sweden Business Support with a total of approximately 400 employees with a mix of both blue collars and white collars. You will work closely with a senior HR Business partner and will provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriate
Based on strategic workforce planning and business acumen identify and take action on specified recruiting needs
Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like salary planning and performance management/HR-tools
Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
Be the focal point regarding work scheduling for managers, employees and unions
Ensure that union relations for the organization are handled in accordance with set cooperation frame work and in accordance to labour law regulations.
Participate in the key HR processes including work force planning, compensation planning and talent management .
Qualifications/Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline in which business knowledge and understanding of human resource practices are gained is required.
To be successful in this role we believe a minimum of least three years of proven experience with core HR practices such as union relations, scheduling, recruitment, compensation and benefits is necessary.
Having worked with blue collars and experience from relevant collective agreements is an advantage. As GE is a global organization English is required as a working language.
EU work permit.

The HR Manager is an approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels, has strong customer service focus and applies solid judgment ensuring compliance and confidentiality at all times.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment are desired characteristics.
