HR Volvo Car Engine is a team within Human Resources consisting of eight employees, reporting to local HR Director. The team have a main responsibility to provide professional support in HR matters and processes, which covers all matters relating to the relationship between employer and employee. We are now looking for an experienced, engaged and highly motivated HR Manager who has the experience and capability to support Skövde Engine Plant Production Management Team and the Production Area. The production area consists of different functions as Maintenance, Assembly, Logistics and Machining. In the production area we face challenges and opportunities as lean transformation, sustainable work life, integrated manufacturing teams, lean leadership and culture.
As HR Manager you serve as account manager, responsible for aligning HR services to global business needs and act as an active member within the Business Unit management team. You translate business needs/improvement areas into HR requirements and actions. As HR Manager you support and challenge the customer in strategic and operational areas to deliver on short and long term goals. You play an active part in daily work, as well as in development projects and activities initiated by HR and customers.
Main responsibilities
• Together with management identify the organisational capabilities required to execute the business strategy
• Drive People Strategy
• Champion the HR initiatives in the Business Units
• Proactively develop, support and monitor actions linked to improved organisational health and increased performance
• Coach and provide advice to line management on people matters as the people specialists
• Collaborate within the HR function to secure innovative HR solutions and efficiency in HR services
Required qualifications
• University Degree within HR or equivalent experience in relevant field
• Experience and knowledge in HR competence areas such as; talent acquisition, performance and development, reward and recognition, labour and law, change management and coaching, organisational development etc
• Ability to strategically develop BU's Human Capital such as Leadership and Competence Development
• Process/Project management and Business case creation
• Preferably experience from manufacturing

• Ability, capacity, interest and drive to work on both operational and strategic level
