IKEA Distribution Service North Europe is a part of IKEA Supply Chain and responsible for distributing the IKEA range to customers and stores in northern Europe. In Sweden we have two distribution centers (DC Älmhult and DC Torsvik). In Torsvik we also have the customer distribution center (CDC) for northern Europe. From here we deliver IKEA products directly to the customers in the nordic countries. Today there are approximately 900 co-workers within our Swedish distribution operations.

We are looking for an HR generalist for our distribution operations in Torsvik, just outside of Jönköping. Your task will be to, in close cooperation with our HR Manager, secure that we work in accordance with the IKEA human resource idea, our values and that our work within HR fulfills the standards set by IKEA.

Your main working areas:
• To carry out and develop what we in IKEA call "Attract" - dealing with how we can be an as attractive employer as possible. This area includes eg recruitment, co-worker introduction and employer branding.
• HR administration; i.e writing employment contracts and being responsible for education administration.
• To support, coach and develop our co-workers and managers in different HR related issues.
• To lead and carry out HR related projects in a team or on your own.
• To actively work with developing our organization and co-workers through a business partnership with our distribution operations.

In order to succeed in your role as an HR generalist it is important that you have- and show great commitment for your work, colleagues and our co-workers. You have a passion for developing people and the business around you. You have a serviceminded approach with the ability to motivate and create commitment. We believe that you have a university degree within HR and have a few years of working experience within the HR field. You have energy, are a good listener and have the ability to quickly get familiar with new working tasks. You also have the ability to structure your work. You have a professional approach to people, have the ability to analyse problems and can express yourself well in speaking and writing both Swedish and English. A few years experience from going to school- or working abroad, and a driving force to at some point move outside Sweden again, is a merit.
