The position as HR Director Sales and Marketing is new to the organization. DeLaval is looking for a candidate who can further develop the Human Resources function and drive operational as well as strategic HR issues within the global organization. The position is part of the Global HR Leadership team and reports to Senior Vice President Human Resources.
The HR Director Sales and Marketing areas of responsibility include:
• To ensure quality assurance and alignment of all HR services to the business by adhering to the policies, procedures and tools delivered to the global/country processes in order to maintain a consistent global approach to Human Resources, by training the local personnel in how to use the tools provided and ensure that the managers accept and use them in a qualitative way.
• Execute coordination towards the Regional organisations to create strategic clarity and support the organization's managers in the process of engaging employees around the organization's vision, strategy, objectives and values to ensure that all employees are clear on their contribution to the overall business objectives.
• Actively work with local management teams and Regional HR Directors to secure development and performance management in their respective organizations.
• To build human capital globally by coordinating and implementing performance management, competence management, talent management, succession planning and competence development in accordance with Global procedures.
• Reward and Recognition, working together with Remuneration and Expatriate Services ensuring a fair and timely remuneration process that stimulates professional development.
• Be a member and driving force in various HR forums and take an active part in the common HR development driven from the Global HR Leadership team within DeLaval.
The candidate is used to coach senior management in a variety of situations and have capacity to operate and make an impact in a global matrix organization.
The candidate we are looking for is accustomed and enjoys working in different cultures and has working experience from HR internationally.
• International experience
• 10 years experience from strategic HR
• Proven track as a successful leader and with experience from heading a geographically spread
• Experience from agricultural business
• Native English speaker
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with being a "doer"
• Strong business mind, with a genuine curiosity and passionate interest in contributing to the business
• Mature with strong integrity and judgement
