hela Sverige Volvo Trucks Europe, Market Sweden is looking for an HR Director with a commercial mindset. The position will report to the Managing Director Market Sweden, be part of the Market Sweden Management Team and also be responsible for an HR team consisting of two HRBPs and an HR administrator.
The position is located in Sweden, Gothenburg and requires frequent travelling.
Who we are
Volvo Trucks is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and Aftermarket Business of Group Trucks. Market Sweden is part of Volvo Trucks Europe Sales Area, VTE (SA). VTE (SA) is one of the four Sales Areas within the Business Area Volvo Trucks.
Retail is our Core Business and Volvo is our main brand. We are a major contributor to the VTE result with our market company based in Gothenburg. The organisation is spread over the three main city regions and provides support to 21 Independent Dealers all over Sweden. We employ approximately 600 people of whom 550 work within our wholly owned Truck Center.
Mission and Main Responsibilities
As the HR Director you will ensure that Volvo Trucks HR strategy and activities are aligned with VTE (SA), Market Sweden business goals. The HR director translates the business plans and strategies into aligned HR plans and actions. You will drive, challenge and support the line organizations regarding change management, employee engagement, organizational, culture and people development to improve business performance by using available processes and tools. You are repsonsible for both VLS and the Volvo Truck Center.
• Advise, guide, challenge and support management teams in leadership sourcing, talent development, succession planning, performance management, competence development and compensation & benefits in order to drive business performance
• Support the management teams with labour legislation, recruitments and exits
• Manage union negotiations for Market Sweden
• Drive and develop our Health & Safety processes including the framework
• Assume responsibility for the implementation of global HR policies
• Ensure that HR processes operate at a high level of quality and effectiveness with continuous improvement
• Analyze and secure quality of HR data to understand trends and resolve problems in order to support the capability of the organizations
• Lead and develop the HR organization including working environment and quality within Market Sweden

Qualifications
• University degree in appropriate academic qualification or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience or related experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of both operational and strategic HR
• Experienced from Blue Collar oriented working environment
• Good knowledge of the Swedish labour law
• Proficient in English and Swedish verbal and written
