Volvo Car Engine (VCE) is a part of Volvo Car Group and is organized within Manufacturing & Logistic (M&L). Volvo Car Engine leads the development and implementation of manufacturing processes in the Volvo Car Propulsion plants globally. VCE has operational responsibility for manufacture and supply of Volvo Cars developed components and engines within the production site in Europe.
Your main responsibility will be to provide operational, tactical and strategic HR support to managers to ensure that HR deliver the talent and performance necessary for achieving business goals.
Main responsibilities
* Support management teams and participate in selected management meetings and on ad hoc basis
* Execute HR deliverables in line with the respective units People strategy and business needs
* Converting functional People strategy into specific activities and plans that fully support the organizations' business goals
* Responsible for implementing and communicating HR policies, directives and processes
* Supports managers in the following areas:
+ Compensation & Benefits with focus on merit review and individual salary setting
+ Workforce Planning & career development
+ Recruitment and sourcing
+ Rehabilitation
+ Labour Relations
+ Organisation development and change activities
+ Participate in HR Process work or HR Projects
Qualifications
* University degree in relevant field or equivalent expertise
* Experience within relevant areas of HR
* Experience within the areas of recruitment
* Business acumen to engage and effectively communicate with key internal stakeholders
* Fluent in English, oral and written
Personal qualities
* Proactive mind set in responding to others requirements, seeking information from other areas of the business that is required
* Communication skills with regular exchange of complex information. Mostly guiding and advising others
* Ability to deliver in time with high quality
* Ability to plan and prioritise with a flexible mind-set
* High integrity
* Analytical skills
As a person you should be skilled in communication and collaboration. You are secure and has a natural authority combined with humbleness. Possesses good social skills and can handle stress.
