You will be part of Robotics in Västerås. We develop, manufacture and market robots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, track motions and motor packages. In Sweden, we are approximately 600 employees located in Västerås and Gothenburg. More than 90 percent of our production is exported and all the major car manufacturers are among our customers. The car industry and their subcontractors as well as other industries such as the food industry, are the main users of robot-based automation. Welding, machine service, handling of material, grinding, packaging and assembling are the most common application areas. The sales of robots and robot systems are managed by local ABB companies as well as by freestanding system integrators and OEM companies and these are the firms we call our business partners.

Challenge: Would you like to act as strategic business partner and manage HR issues in an organization characterized by both a local and global atmosphere? If you are passionate, driven and committed to further develop our HR business, the position as HR Business Partner will be a good match. With focus on competence development and performance management, you will ensure that local goals and global strategies correlate. It will be within your responsibility to implement HR processes and to create synergies between competences and profitability. You will also develop leadership and fellowship among our coworkers. Be prepared for a stimulating challenge where you will support managers and use your people skills and holistic view.

Requirements: As our new colleague, you need experience from HR, preferably from a manufacturing business, combined with an academic degree. You should be used to building long-term union relations and to achieve results together in teams. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and Swedish are prerequisites. It is also important that you take initiative and are able to enthuse and inspire others. A genuine interest in technology and HR is highly valued. In addition to this, business acumen and the ability to make sound decisions will be suitable in this position.
