Purpose

To proactively advise upon and then implement solutions for internal customers on HR topics that are aligned to the wider needs of the organisation and external legal requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Project Implementation. Works with managers at operational level to help implement company level HR activity

• Ongoing Nordic organisation Management Support. Provides pro-active consulting to managers by giving them day-to-day advice. Recommends the application of best practice systems, tools and techniques into their business
• Talent Management and Succession Planning. Ensures that the relevant talent management actions and agreements are followed up and delivered
• Employee Engagement. Ensures the employee engagement and enablement issues are on the Management Agenda and action are taken
• HR Role Model. Actively involved in Nordic HR projects. Networks across the HR community in Nordic region and business management at Nordic hq to build a cooperative relationship sharing consistency in approach, best practice, re-use of initiatives, performance measures and opportunities
• Some Work Council Relations.
• Legal Compliance. Ensures that all internal processes and recommendations are in line with legal requirements
• Admin control at Nordic hq level of admin activities, processes and routines within the HR area. Responsible for and act as the contact person at a Nordic level of  the HR SAP system and its reporting inputs and output, statistics. Update and proactive development of Nordic intranet communication.

KPI

• Projects and programmes are implemented within agreed timescales Formal reviews and reports have taken place and are documented
• Talent development and succession planning information and activity plan in place
• Employee engagement and enablement scores
• Regional timescales of HR calendar events (incentives, performance, etc.)
• Quality of work council relations
• Development of key workforce data (attrition, absence)for Nordic countries

Required Education & Experience

• Relevant university degree or equivalent education
• Several years of experience in a variety of HR roles
• Experience of operating in an intercultural environment
• Experience of managing parts of projects and seeing them through in complex and changing environments
