We are now recruiting a HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a customer focused, can do mindset to support the Innovative Medicines and Early Development (IMED) community based in Gothenburg, Sweden (approximately 1100 employees).

You will work closely with other elements of our HR organisation such as Services, Talent Acquisition, Compensation etc. to ensure that the business and line managers have access to a fully integrated HR approach.

The right candidate needs to be confident and capable of working with business leaders through coaching, but also able to work efficiently across HR disciplines to ensure that HR issues are resolved at the right level in a speedy and customer centric manner. The HRBP will report to Vice President HR IMED and will on a daily basis alongside another HR Business Partner to provide support to 2-3 areas of our IMED organisation. Some travel will be expected to the UK and the US.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As HRBP you will:

* Provide primary support to our line manager community and assist them in creating and maintaining high performing teams.
* Participate in setting and executing the strategic direction of the business area.
* Be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary projects covering a number of areas including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, people management, employee relations and change management.
* Liaise with senior management to understand business requirements and tailor specific solutions.
* Works across the HR function and business, seeks to ensure that interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AstraZeneca's organisational objectives.
* Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, provides advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimise risk and financial exposure.
* Drive and support the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions.

Essential Requirements

We are looking for candidates with BSc or MSc in Human Resource Management and about 7-10 years' experience from working with HR in global companies. The role has mainly a local remit but includes working across cultures and countries, which requires a demonstrated ability to work globally and build relationships with global HR colleagues as well as global managers across functional business areas.

Furthermore, you have a strong drive and energy, are used to leading your own work and don 't hesitate to step into new areas and tasks. You have high integrity and are used to work in teams but can also plan and execute individual tasks.
