Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Business unit Saab Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Saab Kockums operate in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö and Singapore.
The Human Resource's role within Saab has focus on people aspects of the business with an overall goal to translate business needs and strategies into a people strategy.
We are now looking for a HR Business Partner (BP) based in Malmö. You will be part of a team of six persons and report to the Head of HR at Kockums.
Your role
As a HR BP you are highly engaged in driving business forward. In this particular role you will drive the HR activities for all employees within your areas.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a high level of communication with managers and actively supporting the business by implementing HR initiatives such as Talent and Performance Management, Competence Management etc.
Attracting and retaining the right competence and recognizing excellent leadership.
Utilizing thorough knowledge of applicable labour laws, employment laws and experience in coaching managers through complex employee relations situations.
Promoting positive employee relations and exploring methods to improve employee engagement.
Your skills and experience
You have experience in working with talent and performance management as well as coaching and you will drive this process with our business leaders. Empower employees, communicate to employees and facilitate meetings is natural for you, as well as making conclusions and propose actions based on data analytics.You will have thorough knowledge of applicable labour laws, employment laws and experience in coaching managers through complex employee relations situations. Working with diversity and cultural awareness as well as project management is a merit. You should have a relevant academic degree and at least a few years experience in a HR leadership role.
To succeed in this position you will need the ability to translate people strategy into activities to meet strategy and targets, and have a business and financial understanding. The role also require a sense of urgency to drive results and make people grow in their day-to-day business. It will also require a confident person who is strong at building relationships all over the organization.Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English is necessary. It is a benefit if you have worked in an organization located in several sites or countries.
