Human Resource Assistant to European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control
Work Description
We are searching for a Human Resource Assistant for our client, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in Solna.
Task:
The person shall be requested to perform various tasks including:
• Assist in the implementation of Learning and Development (L&D) activities, e.g. internal and external training; e-learning; reporting of L&D activities;
• Maintenance of L&D databases and records;
• Assist in the procurement of L&D activities
• Support in either personnel administration and recruitment or learning and development
• Communicate with staff on HR issues in the area of competence, including drafting information notes, instructions and web content
• Give service interternally to staff as well asexternally towards candidates and others. Provide general support by receiving incoming calls, mail and documentation
• Draft and provide data and text input for reports and statistics in HR matters
• Electronic and paper document management (mailing, typing, photocopying and scanning)
• Update information in HR information systems
• Manage confidential personal data and files
• Support all human resources processes and workflows
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
You will get an employment as a consultant with Manpower. The assignment is to start as soon as possible until last of October with possible extension up to the total length of 12 months. The role is for full-time.
Competences and experience
These specific competences and experience are required for the current assignment:
• Proven administrative experience preferably in the area of Human Resources, and in L&D in particular;
• Experience and aptitude in dealing with confidential matters;
• Experience of designing and organising training courses (including the financial and contractual aspects) is advantageous
• HR education at university level or other HR post-secondary education, and relevant professional experience
• Proven administrative experience, preferably in the area of Human Resources and in a multicultural environment
• Ability and interest to work with human resources/personnel matters
• Good and thorough with files and documents
• Excellent command of english; oral and written
• Through knowledge of Microsoft Office
• High level of confidentiality, service oriented attitude, responsibility and ability to take initiative
• Experience and ability to communicate internally/externally in an open and direct way
• Ability to work under pressure and experience to organise work and to prioritise accordingly
• Excellent ability to work in team.
