The role
We are currently looking to bring on an individual who will cover the role of HR and Payroll Assistant for up to 14 months while the incumbent is on parental leave.
Videoplaza has ca 80 employees across 8 locations and our business is continuously growing. We have 20+ nationalities among our staff and English is our working language. You will be based at the Stockholm office and work with the VP of Talents based in London on a range of HR and payroll related matters. We think that you are a self-starter who thrives on working in a multicultural environment and is happy to work independently.
On the payroll side we work with local payroll bureaux and you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely monthly information to them for preparation of monthly salaries. In order to do this you need to communicate effectively with staff and managers.
You will also assist the VP of Talents in a number of areas including dealing with social security authorities in the various jurisdictions where we have employees as well as organising all company events and being an HR point of contact in Stockholm where we have our biggest office. The responsibilities are varied and as the business grows new responsibilities might be added to the role.
This is a full time role and although the working hours are generally normal office hours, the individual may be required to be flexible on occasion given the global and fast growing nature of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assistant to VP of Talents on all matters HR-related both longer term projects and ad hoc requests
Payroll execution - Administering time and expenses reports for all employees, prepare monthly details for external payroll bureaux, check payroll payment orders, prepare expenses reports for book-keeping purposes
Dealing with Migrationsverket, Försäkringskassan, Arbetsförmedlingen as well as similar authorities in other countries
Contract and salary changes admin
HR point of contract for employees in Stockholm
Private pension admin
Required qualities and experience
Proven track record of HR and Payroll assistance
Service minded with a positive personality
High degree of organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in using Apple hardware and software is an advantage
Experience in Office, Google apps and other online tools is desirable
