Verizon Business in Stockholm/Solna is looking for a "Nordic HR Advisor" to cover for a maternity leave. The overall purpose of this position is to provide frontline advice, guide and support to employees and managers on regional HR policies, processes, systems and procedures covering the full employee life cycle. Provide basic employment relations consulting and support to managers and HR business partners
Principle Job Responsibilities
• Be available to answer and resolve frontline HR queries from Verizon employees and managers.
• Take ownership for closing queries requiring third party involvement (eg HRBPs, solution providers, HRIS, policy/process owners etc)
• Work collaboratively with HRBPs (and other third parties as appropriate) to continually review and enhance country specific content on our intranet.
• Be a primary point of contact for designated HRBPs on HR policy, process, systems and processes and employee problem resolution.
• Provide basic employment relations consulting and support to managers and HRBPs within designated countries on topics such as, but not limited to:
1. Performance coaching and improvement plans
2. Questions regarding: Payroll, Maternity or Sick leave, Tax slips etc
3. Terminations & severance management
4. System issues for HR related questions
Desired Skills & Experience
• 2-3 years experience from an HR advisory position.
• Bachelors degree in HR or related discipline
• Administration experience and service minded.
• Successful track record of working within a global HR team.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office and preferably in Peoplesoft.
• English and Swedish language skills to a business standard.
