As Hotel Manager you are responsible for own projects within the local hotel team in both delivering and managing. Your objective is to achieve maximum profitability for Congrex and the International Hotel Department as well as full customer satisfaction. You work as a team resource to reach the team targets within Hotel purchase and sale both to individuals and groups.
MAIN TASKS
• Conduct purchasing of hotel rooms
• Conduct the negotiation of terms and conditions with Hotels
• Conduct and maximise the selling of hotel rooms
• Attend Sponsor Meetings and Client Meetings
• Conduct add-on sales
• Responsible for own project allotments
• Evaluation of own project/activities.
• To work within Congrex Business Processes
• Regular Sales reports for own projects.
• .Follow up budgets and evaluate financial risks
COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE
• Relevant university degree or other equivalent education
• Minimum of 5 years experience of a similar position
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Excellent oral and written skills in Swedish and English
• Knowledge in other languages is an advantage
• Good communication and social skills
• Client driven, pro-active and self-motivated
• Good knowledge in economics
• Ability to travel when required
