Lyngen Lodge is a pine lodge built in 2008 and in a short period has earned a national and world-wide reputation for outstanding quality and has been listed in the worlds top 20 hotel lodges. The lodge utilizes the nature and unique environment to provide a once in a life time experience for visiting guests. Northern Lights, dog sledding and sea safari during early winter leads to specialized skiing weeks during spring. Summer provides guests with midnight sun, wild canyon rivers, mountain and glacier walking. The lodge caters for 16 guests and provides full board catering to the highest of standards.

We are looking for
A Hotel/Lodge Manager with an edge of difference, motivated to move the lodge forward into the future in this rapidly expanding eco tourism market. The manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel and its staff. Maintain the highest standards of quality and service to the guests, including cleanliness of guests' rooms and associated facilities. Reporting directly to the owner.

Main responsibilities
- Planning and organizing accommodation, activities, transportation and catering.
- Training and monitoring staff.
- Planning work schedule for staff members
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Addressing problems and troubleshooting
- Ensure events/seminars/parties run smoothly
- Managing budgets and controlling expenditure

Experience/requirements
- Experience from a hotel/hospitality/tourism industry/restaurant
- Previous management experience and an inspiring team leader
- Flexible in approach to working tasks
- Presentable and professional at all times
- Service minded
- Excellent communication skills
- Personal interest in nature and sports
- Experience of "high end" is desirable
- Proactive and an enthusiastic mindset
- Structured and organized
- Driving licence
