You'll work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.

Responsibilities

-
Have general understanding of UN-ECE, EU, F/CMVSS, GB, GCC, UK, JP standards and regulations test requirements and execution. * Plan the test vehicle strategy together with prototype, homologation, and other internal customers.

Define the strategy for testing. Configure the vehicle and calibrate sensors for the test.

Ensure that all test equipment is calibrated prior to testing. Coordinate equipment calibration.
Conduct pre-homologation tests and sign off to proceed homologation tests.

Provide a post-test report

Analyze, document, and report the test data.

Investigate test failures and create test reports, concerns, and improvement proposals for internal customers

Prepare the test setup for F/CMVSS in house testing. Perform the test according to the specs.

Conduct Conformity of Production tests/Post Cert tests for EU, US, China etc. according to the agreed plan. Analyze, document, and report the test data according to the COP/Post Cert templates.

Proven CAVA experience is expected. Will be responsible for Virtual Testing implementation.

J1-J2 Post-Cert testing.

Need to have

- Experience in debugging and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Hands-on knowledge of range testing procedures.
- A proven track record of technical excellence in vehicle testing and controls.
- Experience in vehicle test on proving ground.
- Experience in debugging and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of measurement equipment maintenance and calibration, upgrades, and improvements (mechanical, electrical, or software-based) required to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Ability to instrument a vehicle and operate data acquisition systems for data collection.
- Ability to interpret regulations and test procedures in collaboration with the homologation team.
- Basic automotive communication SW skills: CANalyzer/CANoe, NI, Vbox etc.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.

Education

- BSc. (Preferably Engineering)
- MSc. in related topic is preferred.

Experience

At least 5 years of passenger vehicle testing experience is a must.

Two years of experience on US self-certification (NHTSA) and EU homologation related testing is preferred!

Knowledge on China Homologation is a PLUS!

- English is primary language

Specific Knowledge

Analytical thinking and problem-solving strategies

Catia/3dx/CAVA knowledge is preferable.

Teamwork and strong social and communication skills.
