hela Sverige We are now looking for HMI platform developers to strengthen our teams.WELCOME TO THE TEAM!Electrical & Electronics (E&E) Platform has an inspiring Project Program ongoing with new generation(s) of Electronic Hardware (ECUs) and new Software Platform(s). E&E Platform is providing E&E building blocks for the complete VCE machine range, so we offer you a chance to work globally and cross functionally within VCE. Our team develops and maintains the base software and common functions, which are used in a majority of Volvo CE products such as for example Wheel loaders, Haulers, Excavators and Pavers. ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs a HMI platform developer, you will work with Android/Linux Platforms that handle Operator information/interaction, Security, Climate control and other machine functions. The development team are supported with continuous integration frameworks and collaboration tools.As a HMI Software Developer, you love to be responsible for designing and implementing complete features, from low-level hardware drivers to HMI presented for the operator. You will also test the features by implementing automatic test cases that run in the CI environment. You have good knowledge in Java, C++ and Python, and don't mind learning new languages.Main responsibilities:Software development in the full vertical Android stack for the infotainment systemDevelopment using Java, C++, Qt and the Android/Linux tool setEnd-to-end responsibility including design, architecture, documentation, implementation and automated test casesRequired qualifications / skills:M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalentAt least 5 years of software development in Java and/or C++Experience in Android and Linux developmentExperience in working with Git/Gradle/Jenkins toolsGood English and Swedish skills (written and spoken)Meritorious:Experience in developing automated unit or integration test in C++/Java or PythonExperience in agile software developmentExperience within Automotive, Infotainment and from working in an international environment is beneficialExperience in Automotive communication buses, CAN, Flexray etc.Personal qualities:You definitely have a technical mindset and maybe experience from the automotive industry or similar. You are an open and creative person with a can-do attitude. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
