You will be part of ABB HVDC within the Power Systems Division in Ludvika. HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power through long distances at minimal loss, using overhead lines, land and sea cable systems. Tasks
The Control & Protection department is responsible for delivering, testing and commissioning the control platform utilized by HVDC. As Human Machine Interface and supervision (HMI) Manager, you will lead a skilled team of software integration engineers in the daily work as well as creating a compelling vision ahead. It will be your responsibility to create a clear vision for development, realize projects as well as map resources and competences. You will also take ownership for developing the team?s work processes. The work entails occasional business trips globally and the opportunity to visit our partners in i.e. China and India. You will collaborate with development engineers, designers and customers in Sweden and abroad. We offer you the chance to be part of a committed team that operates at the forefront of technology.

Requirements
You hold at least a B.Sc. preferably in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar and have worked with HMI or communication systems in the past. Experience from managing people is highly qualifying and so is knowledge and experience of industrial control systems. Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English apart from Swedish.
