The section Active Safety CAE supports Active Safety development by means of computational analysis and simulation. This is done either virtually in a computer environment or semi-virtual in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) environment. The section today includes 19 engineers, where 6 are specialized in HIL simulations.
As a HIL Engineer Active Safety you will provide expertise and support test engineers to run test on the HIL station and create HIL environment for testing Active Safety functions. You will also participate in project meetings and report test results to management.
Main responsibilities
• Support test engineers to perform tests
• Perform test (failsafe, diagnostics, functional) and analyze test results
• Implement models in Simulink
• Perform software testing on component system level
• Integrate hardware with vehicle simulator
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. degree in engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in modeling using Simulink and Matlab
• Experience from vehicle dynamics is meritorious
• An asset would be experience from network communication, real time simulation and signal processing
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Driver's license (type B)
