Established in 1983, The Tanto International School is a close-knit educational community. We follow the English National Curriculum, tailored for our international students through the Cambridge Primary Pathway leading toward IGCSEs.
The school is currently in an exciting phase of growth. For the 2026/27 academic year, we will welcome our first cohort of IGCSE students (equivalent to Åk 8). As we approach our 45th anniversary, we are thrilled to expand our offerings and create new possibilities for our students.

Job Details: English Teacher (Åk 5, 6, 7, 8)
Position: English Teacher (Secondary)
Extent: 100%
Teaching Load: 15-17 hours per week
Curriculum: Cambridge Secondary (Stages 7, 8, and 9) and IGCSE English.
The successful candidate will teach English lessons across four age groups. Previous experience teaching IGCSE or GCSE is highly advantageous.
The Recruitment Process

Requirements:
Valid teaching qualifications from an English-speaking country or Skolverket certification for the relevant subjects.
A minimum of 5 years of fully qualified teaching experience.

First Interview: An open discussion regarding your career, teaching philosophy, recent educational research, and ambitions. Please bring evidence of your teaching practice and a current police check.
Second Interview: A practical session involving a short class-based lesson on a topic of your choice, followed by a brief evaluative discussion.
Final Interview: A concluding conversation with leadership.
Notification: All candidates will be notified of the final decision.
