GERAN* Training Program
The Development test team is a group of dedicated engineers who work with testing in the areas of physical module-, integration and feature test. The work is carried out in top modern laboratories using advanced test environments and tools as well as programming skills. The group consists of test designers, project leaders, line managers and tool designers and is currently looking to strengthen the organisation with physical module-, integration- and feature test engineers for its handset development.
Job description
Within the Dev Test group you will work in close collaboration with software designers, hardware development and other system testers. You will be responsible for test functionality as well as performance. The position will include not only tasks that involve test specifications and designing test scripts but also work with protocols within the area of certification or development. Furthermore, you will be involved in executing tests, trouble-shooting or documenting test results in report form when required.
Since many of the projects are done in close collaboration with customers and operators you will work in an international environment that requires that you are more or less fluent in oral and written English. You are a problem solver and strong communicator and can present your ideas logically and creatively to both internal and external customers. You have the ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment. You are structured in the way of following established processes and methods outlined by the line organization.
Your background
You have a M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
You have adequate experience working with similar tasks or you are newly graduated but have completed your masters' thesis within a relevant area. If you have one or more of the below requested qualifications we more than welcome your application:
1) Test development and test procedures
2) Programming in C
3) WCDMA/GSM
4) Familiar with test instruments and work in laboratories
5) Have an analytical mindset and is organized and structured in your work
6) Flexible and having the ability to prioritize
