HOW WE IMPACT PATIENTS
The Healthcare Access Specialist is specifically committed to optimal conditions for patient access (reimbursement/budget and recommendation) to Rare Disease & Specialty Care products at regional level. He/she interacts in a network of decision-makers in the health sector in the region and represents Pfizer in the relevant forums.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Healthcare Access Specialist is a customer facing role with an extension of market access, engaging with regional payers, institutions, HCPs, and other key stakeholders to deliver value-based messages of Rare Disease & Specialty Care medicines, and enhance access through patient assistance programs, affordability programs and innovative healthcare solutions and partnerships.
The key responsibilities in this role include:
Establishes relationships with relevant regional key stakeholders and decision makers within Rare Disease & Specialty Care to understand regions unmet needs, act and execute to minimize risk for access on behalf of the Rare Disease & Specialty Care community
At regional level in collaboration with Pfizer colleagues drive operational excellence, deliver flawless leadership for integrated customer plans to secure long-term access for Rare Disease & Specialty Care portfolio, value added program (e.g., disease awareness and education), and/or commercial agreements. Assure regions ability to Suspect, Detect, Treat & Follow-up
Offer Subject Matter Expert support and assist in operationalizing the approved public policy plan or healthcare initiatives, care giver programs for assigned area in both government and private sectors - assure organizational structures develops and are executed upon to increase access for patients today and future
Analyze data (non-patient) and improve efficiency of Patient Assistance Program process
Create a customized value proposition, based on a deeper understanding of regional needs to secure access for Rare Disease & Specialty Care products , formulary inclusions and/or value added programs
Ensure regional decision maker understanding value of Rare Disease & Specialty Care medicines by providing data and budget impact models based on customer needs.
Discuss or propose treatment protocols (from aggregated and de-identified data)

Understand what is needed to launch future products in collaboration with authorities and assure rapid uptake in regions
Ability to identify potential Centers of Excellence, and support their accreditation & network
Key account approach - orchestrate a tailored approach to customers/account needs
Utilizing customer experience to help structure referral lines, build pathways
Skills to identify SuccessFactors and ability to utilize health economy - Develop initiatives & collaborative projects to increase disease awareness among key stakeholders to increase access for patients
Possess leadership skills, and high emotional intelligence
You are open-minded, caring, aware of your own behaviors and possess high collaboration skills
Entrepreneurial & agile mindset
Digital mature skillset
Fluent in Swedish and English
