Job Description
Would you like to provide safety and health support to the development of onshore wind and become an important part in paving the way for Vattenfall towards a fossil free future?
We are offering an exciting opportunity as Health & Safety Advisor in an international environment to advice and support the development of Onshore Wind and Batteries in Sweden, with location in Stockholm.
In our department we work together with Onshore Business Unit: WIND and Business Unit: SOLAR & BATTERIES in strengthening the required H&S commitment and culture to become the #1 renewables developer and operator, by supporting and building an effective H&S Management Systems to enable a high performing organization.
What will you do?
As H&S Advisor, you will be working both as part of a team and independently, your main role will be to give independent, high quality advice and support within the Development phase of the Onshore Wind projects. You will be working in close corporation with the H&S safety specialist in Sweden, but also taking part in improvement initiatives across our four markets, UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
Give independent advice (wanted/unwanted) and support the project team on implementation of the BA Wind H&S Management System in accordance with ISO 45001;
Support development teams to fulfil their H&S responsibilities and increase H&S awareness and leadership;
Carry out and contribute to internal/external H&S inspections, audits and safety assessments when required;
Contribute to H&S improvement projects in an international environment

Location
The location of this position is the Stockholm office, regular site visits and business trips are required.
Qualifications

As you will be supporting a multi-disciplined, international team you will need the ability to influence on team level, build relations, understand the business, manage expectations & facilitate decisions. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently when required.

As our H&S Advisor you will bring:
At least 2 years relevant H&S experience working in the Wind industry and/or in a high hazard industry such as construction / power industry.
University degree in Health and Safety, Risk Management or Engineering (or equivalent H&S education and qualifications, e.g. NEBOSH diploma)
Proactive and ability to function independently and in a team
Ability to support projects and carry out improvement initiatives to ensure high H&S standards.
Experience of Swedish H&S laws and regulation, especially in construction
Good communication skills both verbally and written in Swedish and English.
Digital knowledge of e.g. Power BI is seen as positive
