We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to help us with the strategic development of health and safety at NCC. It is a versatile and challenging position playing an important role in making our ambition to create the best working environment in the industry a reality.

We are looking for an ambitious person who will become a key player in our team and help us implement initiatives and develop processes across all business areas.

The assignment with us

As a Health and Safety Specialist at NCC Group you are involved in developing the strategic direction for health and safety in close cooperation with health and safety professionals in all our business areas, and proactively support them in reaching the targets they set for health and safety.

You systematically follow up on progress and actively contribute to the organization's development of healthy, safe and efficient work processes, and organize your own work to a large degree. As a role model you promote health and safety in your work and takes the lead with a convincing drive when necessary.

You will have the opportunity to be project manager on specific health and safety projects from start to end, ensuring that line management are comfortable with the deliveries, and that it creates the intended value. You will be a part of the NCC Group Health and Safety Team, and report directly to Head of Health and Safety at NCC, Lars-Gunnar Larsson.

We are very ambitious regarding the work environment at NCC, but we are also actively involved in developing health and safety in the industry on a Nordic and European level. We offer the right candidate a unique opportunity to develop a strong personal and professional platform and a broad network internally and externally with some of the most talented people in the industry.

You have experience in managing projects with a systematic approach to executing assignments you are responsible for and in delivering results of high quality. It is an advantage if you have been leading and/or facilitating initiatives related to change management.

A positive and including approach to your stakeholders, your work, and your assignments is important, and good networking skills is a must to succeed in this position. We believe that you have a bachelor's degree in health and safety or another relevant field.

NCC is a Nordic organization with English as corporate language, so this position requires solid knowledge of English in both speech and writing.

Your characteristics

To succeed in this job, it is important that you can work independently, structured, and prioritize your own work tasks. Through a professional and proactive approach, you create trust in the organization, and can collaborate with different stakeholders across the organization.

You thrive in a culture where we both challenge each other and take care of each other. You have a strong drive, a positive approach to challenges in life and a distinct sense of humor. You thrive on developing yourself and others while improving work processes and can work on both strategic, tactical, and operational levels.

As a person, you find it easy to reach out to others and build relationships and have an ability to inspire others. You have an open and transparent approach that helps you and your surroundings to constantly improve by finding new ways forward.
