Heads of Procurement - Sweden and Finland
The new Tieto Procurement function is seeking two business-, quality- and result-oriented Heads of Procurement to head the procurement functions in Sweden and Finland respectively. Currently, procurement of indirect goods and services is highly decentralised; hence the effort to develop a highly competent global procurement function in order to benefit from synergies and scale.
As Head of Procurement in your country, you will identify, plan, prioritize and manage Sourcing crossborder initiatives within your country in order to obtain annual cost savings. Further, you will manage the negotiation and implementation of local, regional and global procurement agreements, including the selection and following up of suppliers. Your goal will be to secure highest quality at lowest cost and on-time delivery. It is essential for all this to be obtained while following specifically Tieto’s defined Procurement Process and generally best practises for procurement.
You will cooperate closely with Category and Sourcing Managers globally with Finance, Legal, Facilities and other functions locally, as well as with external partners.
Our ideal candidate holds a university degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering and has substantial experience from executive procurement position, preferably within a multinational company. You are business minded, analytical and structured, with strong leading and coaching abilities, as well as a great ability to bring your message across to team members, stakeholders and suppliers, influencing key decision-makers and negotiating profitable deals.
The positions are based in Stockholm and Helsinki respectively.
