About the position
UIQ Technology is looking for a Senior Manager to head up the User Experience Team within our Product Planning organization.
Responsibilities
• Your will drive, inspire and mission about UX in the organization.
• You will be responsible for defining and planning the UIQ product from a User Experience perspective in order to reach the goals of becoming the world leading UI enabler for UX.
• Responsible for capturing, identifying, defining and visualizing User Experience features for the UIQ product.
• Manage and drive cooperation with customers in the area of User Experience and concept design in order to understand their as well as end user needs and based on that drive and propose
solutions.
• Responsible for adding User Experience values to the roadmap by populating it with strategic and prioritized User Experience concepts.
• Ensuring that the rest of the organisation understands the UX requirements by being responsible for delivering prioritized User Experience features to the development organization for further
detailed requirement handling.
• Responsible for the product visualizations of presentations to customers.
Skills
We are looking for a creative, innovative person who enjoys presenting new ideas, is comfortable in decision making, prefers working in a rapidly changing market and environment and ideally has the
following qualifications and skills:
A University degree in Interaction design, HCI, MMI, GUI design, Industrial design, Computer Science or similar relevant experience.
• Documented manager skills from similar area.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and fluency in written and spoken English are required.
• Excellent skills in the field of UX, interaction design/GUI design and usability
• Experience of working with interaction/GUI design for small screen devices.
• A combination of good customer relation skills with a solid technical understanding
• Listening skills - ability to understand and distil customer needs
• Ability to work both independantly and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior management as well as technology experts
• Positive, well-organized, outgoing and self motivated
Previous experience of working in an international and dynamic environment with extensive interaction with other companies is an advantage.
