Job description
The position as Head of TV Backend is primarily responsible for the TV backend enabling delivery of TV to our Nordic customers. The position will include responsibility for architecture, development, test and maintenance of the TV backend. The TV Backend supports both the TV service delivering TV using a hardware set-top box and the TV Everywhere service viewable on computers and mobile clients.
The Head of TV Backend will be part of the TV management team, driving to TV area for TeliaSonera. You are expected to also perform as strategist, change agent, business builder, manager of resources, people manager and to work towards achieve the unit?s tasks and objectives. It?s also important to understand the agile development structure and advantages, and to support in the continuous improvement of our process.

Lead and support development and quality of our TV Backend solution
Secure the customer focus in development and maintenance
Ambassador for Agile and engineering practices, and support the value flow in our agile organization.
Understanding and driving towards shared business impact goals.
Developing the organizational culture
Remove impediments to allow the team to increase efficiency
Qualifications and Personal characteristic
You have extensive experience in the areas relevant for the position, with Business acumen and good understanding of the strategic and tactical issues within TV services.
You understand and can support efficient execution through agile methods and coaching/supporting.
You have built participative and empowered teams.
You have a thorough understanding of using customer feedback to improve the service
You have university degree in a relevant field
You have excellent skills both in written and spoken English

You also have a coaching frame of reference and like to inspire and engage. Further it is important that you know how to develop a culture of trust, empowerment and care.
