Head of Transformation-Uptime

We are searching for an experienced leader in the field of business and organisational transformation. This is a unique and exciting business challenge where you will have the opportunity to be at the very centre of the most exciting transformation of Volvo Cars.

Your leadership will make the difference

The automotive business will change more during the next five years than it has over the last fifty. Driven not least by electrification and autonomous drive, new business models are emerging and business requirements on automotive services are changing dramatically. This is driving Volvo Cars to build new uptime services to keep cars running on the roads and to minimise downtime for our customers, all whilst building a mobility ecosystem that makes sense for society and our environment. Volvo Cars has therefore initiated an ambitious transformation agenda to build a new business unit called Uptime.

What's in it for you?

As Head of Transformation you will be part of the global Uptime Leadership Team and report to the global Head of Uptime.

Uptime will include the following global operations:
* Customer Care & Technical Support
* Fleet Service Management & Logistics
* Service Production
* Service Analytics

Initial Build-up of Operations 2018H2-2019: Uptime was formally established on 1 July 2018 and will gradually build up operations relevant for the new uptime scope.

Your Mission

As Head of Transformation, you will drive the transformation of inherited capabilities and organisation throughout Uptime and in acting as the right hand to the head of Uptime. At the same time you will drive the global build-up of new business capabilities. We expect you to lead, coach, and develop the Transformation function. Via your team of direct reports you will showcase your leadership by creating a collaborative environment focusing on strong relationships with colleagues across the global organization. You will be the one to visualize and engage people in celebrating and driving transformation progress.

Transformation at Uptime will be responsible for: Leveraging inherited OEM capabilities through rapid transformation - Uptime will inherit an organisation designed to deliver upon today's OEM business requirements. We believe this inherited organisation is a competitive advantage if successfully transformed to deliver on tomorrow's business needs.

Do you fit the profile?

We are looking for someone who has MBA and/or Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent. +5 years senior leadership experience within the field of business and organisational transformation - as a business leader and/or a management consultant. Proven ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and present findings in a structured and professional manner. As Head of Transformation you must have strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, motivate, delegate, and prioritize in a high paced and complex business setting.

You will have a demonstrated ability to deliver results with large-scale and cross-functional teams with efficiency, quality, integrity and punctuality.
