Your role
As Head of Training at Saab Surveillance in Göteborg, you will manage a group of trainers that teach Saab's customers radar operation and maintenance for surface as well as airborne radars, all over the globe.
Your responsibility includes individual coaching, continuous improvement of processes and methods, and supporting our trainers on- and off site. In addition, you need to create and maintain the necessary network within Saab to serve as the team's spokesperson. Due to the nature of their work, our trainers are very self-sufficient, and your role as their manager will be focused on facilitating their ability to continue to perform.
Training is one of four groups in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) department. As Head of Training, you will be an important part of the ILS management team. The management team works closely together, and each individual contributes with their own experiences and strengths to take an active part in helping solve challenges of all groups within the department. Together we create an engaging and inclusive environment, to encourage growth and personal development.

Excellent communication skills are a major success factor for a position where collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines is key.
Training has employees in both Sweden and Great Britain. As such, it is important that you can express yourself well and feel confident in both written and spoken Swedish and English. You also need to be able to travel from time to time.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
The Integrated Logistics Support department aims to ensure the reliability, availability, maintainability and testability of our radar systems. Training is a vital part in this. The group consists of seven trainers - five in Göteborg, one in Halmstad and one in Great Britain - but needs to grow. The group is tight-knit, with trust, drive and expertise as perfect descriptors.
