The Head of Technical Sales will be heading a team of technical sales professionals but is also expected to contribute to the team by acting as the primary technical sales engineer for selected customers and to work with partner integrations in the growing partner space. It is therefore important that the Head of Technical Sales both has extensive experience in the Head of Technical Sales role and is an inspirational leader. The tasks and responsibilities of the Head of Technical Sales include:

• Inspire and motivate the Technical Sales engineers
• Target setting and follow-up
• Resource planning and scheduling
• Review and quality assurance of the Technical Sales work
• Provide technical product consultation to customers and partners
• Provide the technical solution for bids, including commercially efficient network designs based on analysis of the requirement specifications
• Make written and oral presentations of our products and services in a logical and understandable way and conduct product demonstrations

Technical Sales engineering makes an important contribution to Net Insight's success in the sales process and is equally important for bringing technical quality into the implementation process of the customer solutions. A successful candidate should have the following skill set:

• Previous management skills and experience is a requirement
• An extensive background of successful Technical Sales support in the area of network operators or network equipment vendors
• Excellent communication, administration and organizational skills
• Extensive knowledge of networking techniques and experience in specification and/or design of networks
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or similar education is seen as very beneficiary.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is an absolute requirement for this position and good knowledge in Swedish is a plu
• If you have knowledge about networking techniques such as SDH/SONET, ATM and IP/MPLS and/or design of networks for DVB-T, DVB-H and IPTV, it's an advantage
• You will work with customers on a worldwide basis and therefore you have to be available for travelling.

The position is a permanent employment, full time and based at Net Insight's headquarters that will move to new premises in Solna Business Park in late August. You will report to the VP Sales.
