DESCRIPTION
In the position as Head of Technical Product Management within Wellspect HealthCare's Research & Development, your role is to have line management responsibilities for the department. The department has technical responsibility for existing products and work with product development in an organizational matrix. The department also has responsibility for risk management, change control (planning and reporting necessary product vouchers) and to maintain technical documentation. The challenges for this role will be to manage critical business issues and to be able to navigate between different functions' interests.
You will in your daily work as Head of Technical Product Management;
• manage and support colleagues and projects with technical expertise.
• develop your team of approx.10 engineers and scientists, to meet the future requirements as technical experts.
• have financial responsibility for the department and follow-up towards forecast.
In this role you will work closely and report directly to the Vice President of Research & Development. You will also work closely with other departments, such as Operation and QARA.
QUALIFICATIONS
The person we are looking for should have a degree in science or engineering and industrial work experience. We also expect you to have several years of experience in product development within medical technology. Former manager or project management experience is preferred, preferably in the Life Science area. To succeed in the role you need to have a holistic approach, are goal and results oriented, have good analytical skills and can lead and develop employees in a changing business. Deeper knowledge in one of the department's current areas of expertise is an advantage. You should be willing and able to take initiative and to create commitment among others. You are responsible, outgoing, driven and have the ability to plan and prioritize. We assume that you are communicative, have good interpersonal skills and that you can express yourself well in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English.
