About the role
Do you have a passion for tech and want to be a part of building the IT structure in a growing company with an international arena? This is a great opportunity for you who has project management experience and tech skills to work and grow in a key position where you will be responsible for developing the IT structure and functions.
You will work both strategically and operationally in building and developing products, software and IT infrastructure in close collaboration with the management and product team.
Responsibilities
• Managing the overall information technology infrastructure, strategically and hands on.
• Project management is an integral part of the role, with projects ranging from complex long-term to solving simple and urgent issues. You will work proactively, suggest improvements, plan, and implement projects.
• Create work specifications and deploy relevant resources when applicable, and take action yourself when needed.
• Lead and support the IT team, coordinate work for developers and IT support. Guide and lead stakeholders and resources involved in your projects.
• Secure and maintain all IT processes and workflows in the organization (e.g. servers, websites, integrations, data pipelines, servers, email, communication tools).
• Set efficient requirements and come up with accurate estimates for various initiatives.
• Ensure all IT projects are implemented with quality in mind, thoroughly tested, verified, documented, and maintained.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and delivering quality results, is analytical, has a positive mindset, and has a strong drive to succeed.
You are a structured problem-solver who can translate business logic into technical application, see the big picture while simultaneously getting things done. You have an engineering background as systems developer, software developer, systems architect or similar, preferably with expertise in databases, data management, systems architecture (e.g., CRM, CMS, Payment systems), integrations and APIs, servers, IT security, DevOps. We also believe that you have experience in leading software development work.
Furthermore, we expect you to have:
• Excellent project leader capabilities with documented technical and practical knowledge. Solid experience leading complex implementations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience within IT.
• Great communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
Leadership experience is a merit, but not a requirement.
