We need a masterful Head of Tax like you to establish a world-wide network of tax experts and advisors.
For you, this is more than a coveted senior role as a multi-national tax expert, multi-cultural manager and key advisor to our senior stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to help take our growing global brand to the next level of excellence.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The overall responsibility for the Group's taxes
Actively advise group management and local management with regards to tax and tax risks
Support business development by advising on the tax implications of new business initiatives
Actively ensure up-to-date expertise in the area of indirect tax, and direct tax
Engage and manage relationships with external advisors worldwide to complement internal know-how
Lead and secure efficient and controlled ways of working with the internal and external tax reporting and tax accounting
Responsible for the Transfer Pricing framework, structure and policy
Monitor current and impending tax changes and ensure that the group and its subsidiaries are compliant
Develop and maintain tax policies
Developing and determine the optimal structure of a Global Tax team
Drive projects to optimize overall global tax position
Report directly to our CFO
Key Qualifications
University degree in tax or finance or similar
Knowledge and understanding of local and international tax
8+ years of work experience in a similar role for a multinational company or a tax advisory role
Can interpret complex tax issues into practical application in the business
Keeping abreast with the regulatory requirements
Experience in managing tax audits and ruling negotiations
Born problem solver, act with integrity, and ability to work well under own initiative as well as possess good interpersonal skills
Eager to work in a global fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Capacity to scrutinise underlying information through the application of professional scepticism to challenge the status quo
Eager to drive change and find optimal solutions and to achieve the best result

This role of Head of Tax can be fully remote but preferably within the EU and close to one of our offices. Many of us are working from home during this pandemic but interviewing and hiring are still urgent for us. We're growing.
