hela Sverige In a global role you lead the Enterprise Architects, E2E and software architects in VGT different projects, lead the architectural work on core components within VGT and lead governance discussions. The HoSM is over all responsible for the architecture, software and test design.
As HoSM you will report to the Director of Global Development and you will be a part of the Global Development Management Team. You will have the overall responsibility for all architecture activities related to all VGT products for both Volvo customers and external OEM's. You will work close with other departments in VGT to provide the best support and solutions to our customers.
This position requires
• You have at least 10 year's documented experience from assignments in designing and developing systems in close cooperation with customers
• This is a senior position where extensive previous managerial experience from relevant positions is a demand as well as strong leadership competences
• Experience from High Availability design
• Experience from software service operations and how to design software services for operations according to demanding service level agreements
• You are a graduated engineer, system scientist or have equivalent expertise
• Experience from telecom industry
• Experience of complex systems with many autonomous clients
• Strong interest in process improvements
• Ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams
Main responsibilities
• Manage a core team of chief, enterprise and E2E architects
• Lead and develop VGT architecture and chair the architecture committee
• Secure and develop processes
• Secure that we develop and maintain common components and frameworks in our solutions (for both the Volvo Group and external OEM's.)
• Finance (accountable for budgets and production results)
• Accountable for KPI's and other performance targets
• HR (recruitments, salary setting, competence development, Personal Business Plans)
• Take part in project steering and architecture groups
• Support development of processes, other working methods and competence building
• Best practise sharing and external benchmarking
• Secure good networks and interfaces with relevant functions within VGT, Volvo Group and externally

• In this truly global position you need to be fluent in English
