Acconeer is a young and innovative company listed on Nasdaq First North developing a 60 GHz/mmW pulsed coherent radar based on research from Lund University. The Acconeer radar sensor combines extremely low power consumption with sub-mm distance estimation accuracy. It opens for detection of micro-motion, objects' direction estimation, material classification, human breathing measurement and much more, all within a sensor sized 5x5 mm including antennas. Acconeer is located in Lund at Ideon Gateway and we are currently a group of around 40 people with high R&D focus, working closely together over the R&D disciplines - hardware, software, system and algorithm research and development. We have a large and growing international customer base in the consumer, industrial and automotive segments.
We are looking for a Head of System development to our growing R&D organization!
You will lead a team of highly skilled developers working with system and algorithm development as well as quality assurance of our deliverables. The team is working throughout the whole life cycle of our products and have a key role in contributing to our offer with tools, knowledge, data, and proofof-concepts to enable customers to Explore the next sense. We are looking for a highly motivated Head of System development to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily and should be able to act proactively to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration with other parts of the company. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve intermediate goals, to be result oriented and to meet customer commitment. This requires that you have good project planning skills, focus on delivering, a structured way of working and that you can prioritize when needed. In the role of Head of System development, you will also assist Product management and Sales in establishing product road map strategy and interacting with new customers to demonstrate our offer, as well as promoting innovation and growth of our patent portfolio. We believe that you have several years of experience from team lead, project lead or other managing positions and that you have worked with system architecture or algorithm design for radar or radio products. You have a science/engineering Master's or PhD degree and you speak English fluently.
