What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions.
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Supply Management with full responsibility for all sourcing and material management activities within Sourcing and Production organization. You will report to Sourcing and Production Manager.
Your role

You will be accountable for all sourcing activities within your area, meaning quality, delivery on time and supplier relations.
Continuous development of your team and their abilities and competencies in line with business needs
Responsible for cost center budget and result
Responsible for optimization and development of processes, methods and tools related to your area of responsibility.
Building relations with internal and external interfaces
Your skills and experience
Have a very strong business focus and drive to deliver committed result in time
Understand the bigger picture being a part of Surveillance Production and Saab
Encourage an open, trustful and innovative climate in your organization
Believe in diversity in order to attract skilled people
Continuously improve the business from all aspects including the ongoing improvements
We are looking for a person who has a verified experience from Sourcing and Purchasing domain. Moreover you have a solid understanding of economical correlations, the ability to focus on keeping delivery times and you strive to achieve top quality.
You have proven ability to cooperate across organizational boundaries and hierarchies
You have strong business understanding, customer focus and skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
You have proven ability to take decisions to improve profitability
You are a driven person with perseverance with the ability to generate energy
You have the understanding and skills required to work effectively in an international environment and matrix organisation
You have proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging the organisation, management teams and employees
You have appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business oriented or technical discipline and you have excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
Proven extensive experience of leadership, sourcing and logistics
Master of Science or equivalent
